I have been on a simply remarkable journey with Tash.  If that sounds overly dramatic or exaggerated to you, well it’s the truth and my experience!  I began my journey, working with Tash in August 2022.  I am 65 years old and until 4 years ago, had attended the gym regularly.  I stopped pre Covid but continued to walk minimally 3-4 miles a day with my dogs.  During Covid lockdown, however, I experienced increasing physical pain whilst sitting, rising from sitting, and my lower back and pelvis had become increasingly inflexible.  This was affecting my mobility and quality of life.  Tash was recommended to me, and I haven’t looked back since.

It has now been six months together: 

My pain has gone 

My body is more flexible 

I am stronger

I feel calmer

I am more physically confident 

I no longer need foot support orthotics in my shoes 

I am standing straighter and taller – my posture has improved.

The breathwork exercises and strengthening work that I have undertaken with Tash has helped me positively focus on my body.  I have become more ‘in tune’ with myself and how I am moving and feeling. 

Tash is a dedicated, highly skilled and knowledgeable, professional practitioner.  I cannot recommend her and her PRI approach, enough.  I am extremely grateful to Tash for convincing me that I had to commit to improving the quality of my life.

Breathwork + slowing down + tuning in = my optimal 


Anyone can benefit from the training that Tash offers – particularly the breathwork techniques.  And particularly if you are postnatal, like I was.  Tash gave me the tools to breathe correctly and efficiently.  More importantly, she gave me the understanding of how to use the techniques correctly, providing direct feedback, which is something that you can’t get from searching the internet.  In our first session, Tash ‘untwisted’ my ribcage, purely through breathing – it was mind-blowing.  I was able to continue these simple breathing techniques at home, set by Tash, tailored to me personally, adapted week by week.  I always left our sessions more informed, much lighter, less stressed, and more positive. How I breathe has improved and I can feel the benefits in all areas of my life.  Tash as a teacher is informed, experienced, passionate, friendly and caring.  I highly recommend!

Strength training + targeted breathwork = my optimal 


When I started working with Natasha, there were a lot of movements that my body just couldn’t do.  My muscles wouldn’t let me.  I could not turn my head more than 45° degrees right or left without my trunk turning.  My posture was completely slanted, and my shoulders rounded.  I mentioned to Natasha what I thought were groin pains, and a 'catching' in the hip which hindered my stride.  She suggested the possibility of arthritis. The doctor and an X-ray confirmed her suspicions...

Natasha remedied all these issues with solutions both specific to my individual needs and absolutely essential to functional movement.  Every part of me was being considered, and my movement as a whole person was targeted.  It’s this approach that works for me and my body.

I can now rest a pole on the base of my neck behind my head (extraordinary!).  I can now nearly touch my shoulder with my chin, with no trunk movement.  I’ve never been able to touch my toes.  I can now reach within 2cm of my toes with my knees locked straight (unbelievable!), at aged 65! With Natasha’s constant reminders, I walk with so much more balance than I have in years.  Decades of inaction on my part are being slowly reversed.  

Patience in this journey has been key.  Tash has given me that.  Constant constant constant repetition of advice and technique details (she has an eye for this) means that now my movements are never non-thinking.  I’ve fully engaged with my movement.  Patience on my part has helped me face all of the hard work. 

In this hard work, at the gym and with the exercises at home, team work has been invaluable.  Repairing or improving yourself, I’ve realised, is definitely a job for two people! 

My journey is really highlighting Natasha as a true personal trainer.  I can’t recommend her enough! 

Oh – did I mention that I’ve lost 27kg so far too! In just six months, and at aged 65!

I originally started PT sessions with Tash in the lead up to getting married, with the plan of having one session a week.  Having been someone that absolutely hated the gym, Tash quickly got my hooked on exercise and it didn’t take me long to increase my sessions to twice a week! Our training then carried on way past the wedding! 

Tash is the best PT I have come across.  She really cares about her work and her clients, and invests a lot of time in making sure the programme is working, and that you are getting what you want from it.  Her programmes are tailored to your needs, definitely not generic.  I really can’t recommend Tash enough!!
